MY ROOTS

I'm Heather. It's a tough name to say - kids usually go with the more simplified version of "Heder" or "Mama H" which is fine by me.  It's also how we came about with the name of my dayhome - "It's Heder's House," said one of my dayhome children.

I've been an Early Childhood Educator since the fall of 2005 working in partnership with ERCCA Northalta. I received my Early Learning and Child Care Degree in 2012, earning myself a Level III certificate by the Alberta Government. 

 

Child Care has come a long way from what it was when I first started, and I'm very proud of the changes in me, my program, and my profession.
